Our pond is thriving! Our Koi and goldfish had babies and the original fish are healthy and growing! Our pond was overstocked in September 2006 and with the help of Katie and Shannon, Mike & I removed many Koi from our pond and transported them out to a larger country pond. Again, in 2007, we took 10 more Koi out to the country. In the fall of 2007, we still had about 31 fish in our pond. In the spring of 2008, we will again take some of the babies out of the pond. |

Rudolpha is queen of our pond and most everyone's favorite Koi. It seems all the other Koi follow Rudolpha. Rudolpha follows us with her eyes and swims towards us when she sees us. We named her origionally 'Rudolph' because of the red nose but the first spring after we got her she was swollen with eggs so we renamed her 'Rudolpha' |
