| Lauren feeds Cocoa |
| Cocoa was a chocolate lab and was born in 1996 in Indiana. We got her when she was only 7 weeks old. She was like the energizer bunny and we have always called her a Cocoa nut! She loved to retrieve balls and toys. When Cocoa was going on 2 she had 13 puppies. She was a good mother and has been very good with all us and our grandchildren and now especially with Lauren who is going on 2 years old. We gave our son Michael one of Cocoa's black puppies for his birthday. They named the puppy Rex who is in the middle of the 3rd picture on this page. They also have Dixie who is Suzy's pal. Our daughter Teresa, granddaughters, Katie and Shannon dog is Roxie. Roxie is a Black Lab. Our daughter Cathy has a dog named Bear who is a Labadoodle and Nick's best pal!S |

Our Kitten Search And Rescue Mike & I went on a trip in our RV to Starved Rock! While on our trip we heard "Meow, meow, meow", under our floorboards in our kitchen. On May 21, 2007, we took our RV to Collier's RV Sales and Repair in Rockford, IL. We would like to thank Collier's Service Manager Todd Garrison for his great crew! As soon as we got there a couple guys went right out to our RV for a search and rescued three kittens from up under our RV. Everyone there was there were great! Collier's Tom (pictured below) talked to the kittens as he took out one, two, three kittens from the RV and promptly took the basket to the girls in the office to look for a home for them. Collier's office Tracy called several Vets in the area until she found a Tech from State Street Animal Clinic named Tamon who volunteered to take the kittens home and nurse them back to health and then find a home for them. Tracy even took the kittens to the Vets office. |

| Now, hold on! That is not the end of this story! We then went to an RV Park in the Rockford area. After we setup, I heard more meowing under our floorboard. The next morning, Mike worked his way under and up in the bottom of our RV and searched and rescued not one but two more kittens! Cocoa was right with us through the rescue and helped clean the kittens! A RVer couple, Mary & Lee Stiles helped us clean and feed the kittens with sugar water and a straw. I called Collier's Tracy who again who called the State Street Animal Clinic again. They agreed to accept our two new kittens for their Tech Tamon. Tamon then got 5 not 3 kittens to care and find new homes. Thank you Dr. Cihak, crew and Tamon! If anyone is interested in adopting a kitten: State Street Animal Clinic, Inc. 3335 Business Route 20 Belvidere, IL 61008 Phone: (815) 544-0751. Dr. Donald R. | Tom rescued 3 kittens from our RV. Thank you, Tom! |

| Our friends, Mary & Lee Stiles gave us a call June 14th to let us know that they stopped in at the vets office and Tamon said that all of the four kittens are doing well and are weened off the bottle. They all have homes to go to. What a relief! |
